“Sous-vide” cooking is just a fancy word for when food is vacuum-sealed in a plastic pouch and placed in water for extended cooking times (anywhere from a few hours to a day or two). The idea is that by cooking evenly at a low temperature, the food will avoid overcooking and retain moisture perfectly. Now that I’ve spared you the awkward answer from a pretentious person (which is exactly how learned!), you can do it yourself using the the Anova Culinary Bluetooth Sous Vide Precision Cooker!
The design makes it possible to enjoy this chef secret from the comfort of your own kitchen. just attach the cooker to any pot, add water, drop in your ingredients in a sealed bag or glass jar, then press start. That’s literally IT. Use the intuitive interface directly on the device to adjust setting or, better yet, control it from your smartphone using the Anova Culinary app where you can start/stop and monitor your cooking. Just set it and forget it for restaurant quality results from the comfort of home!
